Penn State is advancing AI research across disciplines, with faculty, staff, and students exploring everything from foundational methods to real‑world applications in science, health, sustainability, education, and the arts.
These efforts are coordinated through the AI Research Hub, led by the Institute for Computational and Data Sciences (ICDS) with support from Penn State’s Office of the Senior Vice President for Research. The Research Hub connects researchers, supports collaboration, and serves as a forum for organizing and promoting AI‑related activity across the University, helping to energize the Penn State community and accelerate AI‑driven discovery.
