Overview
AI Week is a university-wide celebration and exploration of how land-grant missions of education, research and scholarship, and outreach and service need to be reimagined for the age of artificial intelligence. It brings together faculty, students, staff, alumni, industry and government leaders, educators, and community partners from across Penn State and beyond. AI Week is distributed across the University rather than a central conference, and colleges, campuses, institutes, centers, and other units organize events that reflect their distinctive expertise, interests, and communities.
AI Week 2027
Penn State AI Week will return March 15-19, 2027, bringing together students, faculty, staff, researchers, and partners from across the University to explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence. Coordinated by Penn State Extended Learning Partnerships, the week is expected to feature conversations, workshops, demonstrations, and opportunities to share ideas about AI-related research, teaching, learning, ethics, innovation, and community impact.
Whether you are learning about AI for the first time, applying it in your work, or exploring its broader implications, AI Week offers opportunities to connect, exchange perspectives, and help shape Penn State’s AI future.
