The AI in Social Research: Empathetic AI, Metascience and Methodology Conference will be held Wednesday, June 3, and Thursday, June 4, at the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub, Penn State University Park. The event will also be held via Zoom for those who can't make it in person.
The event aims to bring together researchers from various disciplines, including psychology, political science, philosophy, computer science and others to explore the intersection of AI and social research.

The event is coordinated by Daryl Cameron, Sherwin Early Career Professor and associate professor of psychology, and Bruce Desmarais, ICDS co-hire and DeGrandis-McCourtney Early Career Professor in political science. The event is also supported by the Consortium on Moral Decision-Making, the Center for Social Data Analytics, Center for Socially Responsible AI and the Social Science Research Institute.
